We have a school blog and I wrote this for fun...
Enjoy!
Please look at the rest of our blog too and leave a few comments. I'm sure everyone will be very grateful!
This blog is written by me! I was 7 when I started it, but now I'm 11! I review books that I think other children will like.

Please Recommend!
Hi, I'm a ten year old who loves reading but is out of books! Please can anyone recommend me a book that is not too easy but is not inappropriate for my age (if you know what I mean!) I have read The Hunger Games and all the Lauren St John books.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Wonder
The reason I started this blog again was to tell the world about this fantastic book!
Wonder is the most WONDERful book I have ever read. It is a funny and moving story which made me laugh and cry. It is by far my favourite book.
August Pullman in just an ordinary American kid. Inside. On the outside, he's a freak. Born with a severe facial problem, August attracts attention of almost everyone who walks by. Children chat about him, parents ponder about him and students are surprised by him. It is August's first year of middle school and his first year of school and he is very nervous. Will he be able to get past the bullies and the humiliation to win some friends and survive the very hectic year?
I know I don't usually do this but...

My First Book Review for Some Time!
Hi everyone, I thought I'd start this up again, so today I am going to review a book which I think is excellent, and I'm sure you'll agree.
Grace lives in a tight Christian Community, where they have very strict rules about anything and everything. For example, girls aren't allowed to cut their hair and they must not touch Outsiders (people who aren't in that part of Christianity.) When Grace's dad is expelled from the Church, Grace is not permitted to see him ever again. What will happen next?

Freaky facts
Did you know
that statistically, you are more likely to be attacked by a shark? Or that phobophobia is the fear of fear?
Well I didn't until I read this awesome book, Freaky Facts.
The title tells you everything. Its a whole book of amazing facts, great for long journeys.
I like to read this book over and over again, as there are so many facts I can't remember them all! Every time, I amaze my friends and family with some cool fact that I have just learnt.
This book is smallish, the picture on here is nearly as big as the actual thing. It is good as it doesn't take up much space.
The illustrations are bright and funny. Most of them have speech bubbles.
I love this book and think anyone aged over 7 will love it too.
I recommend it 100%.

D is for Dahl
Hi and sorry I haven't posted for ages. But during this time I have been reading some truly fabulous books that I can recommend, and you can (hopefully) enjoy.
D is for Dahl is an A-Z of Roald Dahl's life. It is fun and includes lots of interesting things. For example, Roald Dahl was never satisfied with what he had written and he had so much fan mail that he needed help from other people so he could reply to them all!

Poppy Fields Books
The Poppy Fields books are great murder mystery books with 7 books in total.
They are great reads and are extremely gripping.
They feature a girl named Poppy and her best friend Graham who always find themselves in the middle of a murder mystery. But with clever brains that are good at logic, can they find the murderer before it's too late?
These books are thrilling to read and unputdownable.
I recommend it to kids aged 8-10
Happy reading!

Billionaire Boy
This book is about a boy named Joe Spud. His father is a billionaire but was not as rich as that all his life. His father makes money out of selling loo-rolls, 10p a packet.
Joe is bullied at school and called names such as Bum Boy so when it comes to his birthday he asks to go to a new school so he can make friends.
But everything is not as simple as Joe settling in, his school discovers he is a billionaire and his dad pays for things that Joe doesn't want to happen.
This is the best of David Walliams's books by far. It is funny and emotional and I recommend it to anyone aged 8-10.
Best book I've read all year!
I have also read Mr Stink and The Boy in the Dress. I reviewed the Boy in the Dress for this blog (I loved it!) and you can see it here.

The Band of Loren
This is a wonderful book.
The main character in this book is a girl called Hannah. One day, when her uncle comes to stay he gives her two presents. The first one is a beautiful coral necklace and the second one is a dream catcher.
That night, when Hannah goes to sleep, the dream catcher whisks her away to a land called Dreamworld. There Hannah makes good friends and is happy, but because there are danger signs and a mysterious cloud going around Dreamworld, she could be happier. At bedtime every night, Hannah and four of her new friends explore different parts of Dreamworld, trying to save it from the cloud.
This is a really gripping book and I didn't want to put it down.
This is Tess Dali's first book and she is already one of my favourite authors.
This book is medium sized with 274 pages.
I recommend it to girls aged 9-11.
