Wonder

The reason I started this blog again was to tell the world about this fantastic book!
Wonder is the most WONDERful book I have ever read. It is a funny and moving story which made me laugh and cry. It is by far my favourite book.
August Pullman in just an ordinary American kid. Inside. On the outside, he's a freak. Born with a severe facial problem, August attracts attention of almost everyone who walks by. Children chat about him, parents ponder about him and students are surprised by him. It is August's first year of middle school and his first year of school and he is very nervous. Will he be able to get past the bullies and the humiliation to win some friends and survive the very hectic year?

Dork Diaries Party Time

This book is a bit like the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. Both are very good, but I probably like Dork Diaries best. I like it because it’s more emotional and the pictures are better. Like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the main characters are girls. It is the diary of a girl called Nikki and she is American.
Dork Diaries has the same font as Diary of a Wimpy Kid, but it has more detailed pictures. I like these pictures better because of that.
The book is about Nikki and her school Halloween party. She gets into a bit of a pickle because she is supposed to be entertaining the younger children, dancing with her friends Chloe and Zoey AND hanging out with her crush, Brandon at the same time.

Allie Finkle’s Rules For Girls

This book, by Meg Cabot, is really good. It is about a girl called Allie and she has a best friend she does not really like.
Allie’s parents say that they are going to move. She does not like the sound of this but her brothers Mark and Kevin really want to move.
Eventually Allie starts getting interested and wants to move but meanwhile she tries to follow the special rules which she has made up to try and make her behave. They are her “rules for girls.”
