Philippa Fisher's Fairy Godsister

This book is about a girl called Philippa and she has two embarrassing parents. They both are entertainers and can both do magic. When the new girl from school comes to Philippa, she is surprised to hear that the new girl (called Daisy) is a fairy. Daisy had been told to give Philippa three wish vouchers, but each wish seems to make things worse.



This book is really exciting. I like it because it was a very good story and also because it told you lots of things including why Philippa was embarrassed of performing.
I also like it because it shows that you have got to be happy with what you've got and everyone can be a friend to someone else.

My favourite character is Daisy because she starts of being really mean but gradually she becomes nicer and also is very clever and helps Philippa stand up against a bully.

Overall, this is a very good book that is very descriptive and made me not want to put it down until the end.

I think that this book is suitable for children aged 7-10.
